Kompong Speu City
Vista supports the Kompong Speu City church plant financially. This is Sary Chea, pastor of the new church, with his wife Sophea, and their one year old baby Andrew.
The church began by invitation of Sary’s family in 2015. His younger brother opened his house for church meetings, and they also had roughly ten outreach groups of 2-3 people each.
The church currently has 45 in attendance every Sunday. They host youth meetings, as well as a host of classes – english, computer skills, music, etc for the local community.
The Lord has guided an opportunity to grow their ministry by providing a former restaurant space for this church to meet. Vista has partnered with them to support renovations and roof repair so they can host services for up to 200 at a time. They are committed to holding multiple services throughout the day to reach even more people throughout Cambodia.
New Life is growing rapidly in Cambodia and on mission to plant over 500 churches in the next five years. They currently operate 180 church plants and are reaching multitudes of people in remote regions that are turning to the Lord.
