Local Impact

Born as a ministry of Vista, and led by Pastor Justin Bradshaw, Bloom: A Free Store is a non-profit serving families with young children in Columbus and surrounding areas. Its goals are to aid in the flourishing of families and to create a supportive community for families by connecting people, providing basic needs, and sharing resources.

Columbus Relief (CR) is an organization located on the southside of Columbus but has a central Ohio reach. Their motto is “loving people where they are” and they focus on those experiencing homelessness, addiction and significant poverty.  While helping with immediate needs such as food, care needs, showers, laundry and more, the seek to build relationships with those they serve.

The Dublin Food Pantry is dedicated to connecting people with nutritious food, essentials, and resources while educating the community about hunger’s impact and collaborating with others who address basic human needs.

Led by Dr. Norman Brown, J. Jireh is a faith-based non-profit organization, with a holistic approach to serving individuals and families, and responding to the needs of the Near Eastside of Columbus community.

Since 2010, the mission of JJDC is to improve the quality of life in the East Main Street community through housing and economic development, planning, coordinating of services, and other community-building activities.

At any moment, we might experience a sudden job loss, a health crisis, or an unplanned disruption to our everyday lives that may leave us temporarily in need of help. With the help of the community, One Dublin assists families living in the Dublin City School district to ensure basic needs are met with compassion and dignity.

Sharon Kozar served as a full-time missionary in Papua New Guinea from 2014-2021 with Pioneer Bible Translators. Now in the U.S., she continues her work with Pioneer by connecting to and caring for donors. Young Life is a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school, and college students in all 50 of the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world. YoungLives​ is a regular gathering with parenting teenagers and mentors with the support of childcare workers and various community help. Young Life Capernaum’s mission is to invite teens and young adults with and without disabilities to discover authentic friendship, growth, and purpose.
