TAKASHA

TaKasha Smith has spent her career combining her passion for advocacy and ministry to serve others with compassion and purpose. Her work has taken her across the U.S. and abroad, advocating for vulnerable and exploited populations through public policy, education, and direct service. She has worked extensively in the areas of juvenile justice reform and anti-human trafficking efforts.

Before stepping into advocacy full-time, TaKasha served with H2O Church for 8 years, where she mentored college students, taught at conferences, led mission trips, and helped build ministries rooted in discipleship and service. Her heart for justice and her call to ministry have always gone hand-in-hand, shaping a life committed to lifting up the forgotten and equipping others to do the same.

When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her curled up with a good book, writing, having a spontaneous 60-second dance party, or hanging out with her mini goldendoodle, Teddy.
