  • Describe one of the most unusual or interesting friendships that you’ve had or have.
  • How have they (or some unlikely experience/event in your life) unexpectedly taught or shaped you?
  • How easy or challenging is it for you to see God at work in hard times? How easy or hard is it to yield to those intentions of God?
  • What has God been teaching, showing, changing about you lately?
  • If someone were to ask you what “Jesus being King of your life,” meant, what would you say? Spend time working out three statements that personally capture it for you.
