Current Sermon Series
In Matthew 16:15, Jesus asks His disciples a question that is still being asked and answered in all corners of the world. He says, “Who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter speaks up, boldly claiming the truth that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. Today, opinions still vary on who this Jesus is. In the book of John, we see seven “I Am” statements that bring us into greater understanding of who Jesus really is. Let’s sit with these statements and meditate on the truth that the great I Am made Himself vulnerable so that we could be made safe. This Good Shepherd cast His light into the darkness that we might recognize His voice and come in through the gate to resurrection life, and abide in Him, the true vine.
